Presented by the St. Clair Youth Ballet

The St. Clair Youth Ballet Company was formed in September of 1999 to provide local dancers an opportunity to perform in a classical ballet production and to enrich the arts in the Sarnia Lambton area. The pairing of local dance students with dancers of international caliber makes for a truly enjoyable performance for our audience, and gives our artists a unique opportunity to meet and work with professional dancers.

The curtain has closed on the tenth and final production of The Nutcracker. Our thanks go out to everyone who gave so much time and energy into the show, and especially our young dancers who did such a great job!

With regrets, we announce that Stephanie Hutchison will not be able to appear in The Nutcracker. We are pleased to announce that the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy will now be played by Jillian Vanstone , a First Soloist with the National Ballet of Canada.

2008 Guest Artists

We are pleased to announce that the Guest Performers in our 2008 production of the Nutcracker will be Stephanie Hutchison and Piotr Stanczyk. Both of these dancers are returing for our 10th Anniversary production. Stephanie Hutchison is a First Soloist, and Piotr Stanczyk a Principal Dancer, with the National Ballet of Canada.
